We had relatives down from Aberdeen for the weekend and they were keen to go for a curry. We had picked up a carry out a couple of weeks before which we really enjoyed so we thought we would give it a try as a restaurant . We booked a couple of days before as we were going on a Saturday. Everything was first class from staff to food. We always find that the portions are too big and there’s too much waste. This time the portions were perfect and the only things returned to the kitchen were empty plates and one poppadom! Excellent visit to a great restaurant. We all agreed it was the best curry we have had for a very long time.
Lovely staff offering great service. The food was exceptional and we eat curry two to three times every week so we think we are fit to judge. Sauces were excellent, we had Jalfrezi and it was so good we bought two on take away to take home with us. Onion bhajees also excellent. Only down is that the place needs a good paint but that is nothing to do with the staff or the food quality. Only sorry we do not live in Galashiels but we will be back as soon as possible for a day trip and a visit to Gala Tandoori.
First time visit here with friends and family as newly moved in borders, recommended by our neighbours. Food was absolutely delicious, full with flavors, very tasty everyone enjoyed. Serve top class, although the restaurant was fully pack the staff is very attractive. Thanks to all the staff, and compliments to the chef. Highly recommended Will be back again thanks.. . .

Fantastic food, customer service, ambiance and value for money! Been there a dozen times now and never been let down by the family or staff. Will doubtless be there again in the coming weeks.
Only place I get my kebabs from. 10/10 service. 12/10 Food for great value. Always go above and beyond. Couldn’t recommend a better place honestly.
Food was top notch will definitely be coming back. pizza was fresh, had a generous amount of topping and was cooked to perfection and lovely staff
