Last weekend, my daughter and I decided to try Galleria based on positive reviews from other diners. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and seated at a quiet table. We quickly ordered drinks and an appetizer of fried calamari. I requested a glass of Chardonnay, which I assume was the house Chardonnay, though I'm not sure of the producer. It had a rather harsh, slightly sour taste. I didn’t bring it up to the waiter, but I struggled to finish half of the $13.50 glass during our meal.

Galleria Ristorante is a classic Italian eatery in Westbury that has stood the test of time and never disappoints! We’ve been coming here for both ordinary weekend dinners and special occasions for what feels like a lifetime. The food is exceptional; during our recent visit for a birthday celebration, we started with the spedini and hot antipasto, both of which were incredible. We also enjoyed a delicious Caesar salad as an intermezzo. All of the main dishes, including shrimp, chicken francese, shrimp parmesan, and chicken/veal carrozza, were fantastic! The birthday dessert platter was decadent as well. Our waiter, Nik, was absolutely the best! Highly recommended!

The Galleria is a never failing, always epic experience for old Italian cuisine. There is no lack of delicious menu items and specialties. We go here for most of our special events and we were blown away by the service as well as the various fish dishes we had over the years. The grilled Calamari alone is worth the trip. I can’t say enough about the amazing swordfish the last time I visited the gallery that I asked and delivered in a sharp red sauce! The fish itself was fresh and delicate and the sauce spicy and delcious. Go to the gallery for the next time and you will not be disappointed!

We received excellent, attentive service during our visit! The grilled calamari and chopped salad were both delicious. My husband ordered the Fruita de Mar, which is a mixed seafood dish served over pasta, while I opted for the chicken with mushrooms, which came with potatoes and broccoli. While the food was good, it didn't quite stand out as amazing. The ambiance was comfortable, though it had a somewhat outdated feel.
We were a group of eight with reservations. It took 45 minutes before we were offered menus by the waiter who eventually returned to take our order. We were then served by the busboys. Our appetizer dishes sat until after the main courses arrived . The side dishes were cold. Every main course was over sauced. I?ve eaten here over forty years and have seen a gradual decline but tonight experience was a new low.

We have been coming here for years! We love Dominick and his staff. The food is beyond delicious. The service is impeccable. They will always accommodate any need or request. We have had anywhere from an unplanned Saturday evening dinner to our rehearsal dinner. We love coming here.
We just discovered this jewel. Fantastic food and staff. You won't be disappointed, believe me.
