I have to say, this is the best bar I’ve been to in Chicago. The atmosphere is incredibly lively, but what really stood out to me were the people. There was such a diverse crowd, all radiating positive energy. Honestly, I could see myself getting married in this bar—I might even say I’d marry the bar itself! And a shoutout to Heidi, the stunning karaoke host, who has the voice of an angel.
Great dive bar. Did paid street parking a few blocks away close to the lights. Has pool tables and darts. A great place for a low-key hangout. Went out on a Sat night, it took almost 30 mins to get a table to sit down. As it got late, it became more and more crowded. Highly recommend for a fun night out with friends.
This classic bar features dart boards with chalkboard scoreboards and has been a beloved staple in the Lakeview neighborhood for years. It has a great atmosphere that brings back memories of the 90s and early 2000s. I’ll definitely be returning, especially since I live just across the street!
Bar tender (Iowa sweatshirt) was SO rude, unhelpful (borderline aggressive) and absolutely awful. We will NEVER go back. Avoid this place if are looking for a fun night out. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
A+ bar. Great space with seating standing space, darts, pool, a few arcade games, several TVs, and great affordable drinks. Nolan the owner is a great gentleman and host.
I recommend that this bar operate on a cash-only basis. Their credit card system seems to be just a notebook and a pen. If you can, it's best to pay with cash here.
Building on L Bur's review, I just wanted to add that Galway has implemented a new POS system. The days of using a notebook and pen are finally behind us!
