Situated conveniently in the main street this was the first cafe we visited in Wareham. Initially it was because it was one of the few still open at 4.45 so we sat in the small sunny courtyard with 2 children and the dog, for whom water was voluntarily brought. This was a thoughtful touch. The menu was varied with homemade cakes plus panini and other light lunch favourites. The earl grey tea was good which is always a good recommendation. We returned a further 3 times and would have been more had they been opened Sunday. The cafe wasn't busy, unlike the cafes by the river so finding a peaceful retreat was easier.
Popped in here for a light lunch and wow did it impress! Discrete but good covid restrictions, friendly staff and a warm welcome. I had a piece of roasted veg quiche, it was homemade had plenty of veg in it and light crumbly pastry. Panini and jacket potatoes for the rest of the family were good and the side salad was thoughtfully put together. We will return to try some cake next time.
A gem of a cafe. Previously visited for tea and cake, but on this visit to Wareham we had breakfast on two consecutive days. Service was quick and friendly and we didn’t have to wait long for our food. My partner had the full English breakfast and I had poached eggs. Both of us said how perfectly cooked our meals were. Great cafe and would definitely recommend.
I treated my mom to a delightful afternoon tea at this lovely tearoom. The presentation and service were excellent. The staff went above and beyond to make my mom feel special, even singing Happy Birthday to her. The afternoon tea was delicious. I highly recommend this fantastic tearoom. This cafe in Wareham is a wonderful place that is completely dog-friendly and located on the main shopping street. The drinks were excellent, and the cakes were absolutely delicious. Let's show our support for this cafe and help keep dog-friendly businesses thriving.
Freshly made to order sandwiches which were well filled and delicious. The cakes were scrummy too. Lots of choice and homemade too. All the staff were incredibly helpful and made the visit extra special. Highly recommended.
This restaurant is perfect for lunch and beyond, you all should definitely give it a try. Saturday is a great day to visit because you can enjoy the market before or after your meal, but honestly, any day is a good choice.
