I'm from out of town and had just driven many miles prior to arriving in town in hopes of having a delicious beer before going to my lodging. I entered the brewery and the bar was very slow. The bartender did not appear to be in a welcoming or jovial mood. After ordering my beer I asked to pay for my beer. The bartender rudely stated that they cannot do credit cards sales for under $10. The bartender then suggested that I use their ATM of which I responded that I have no interest in paying for a machine to give me my own money back for a fee. Although I've never been particularly keen on craft beer establishments, this place truly deserves a perfect score of 5 out of 5. The staff was exceptionally friendly, even amidst the hustle and bustle of a packed night. Kristin, who was behind the bar, offered excellent recommendations, including the cranberry cider and pineapple sour, both of which were outstanding. Atmosphere was nice, food was the typical bar type selection, but the drinks were solid. Everything from IPAs, down to stouts, lagers and ales. Bartenders are pretty nice people and will hold conversation with you which is nice, especially if you’re new to the area like my wife and I. They had an oyster fest the weekend we went which seemed like quite a few people showed up too. So it’s cool that they put on events, and they have bands play in house as well. I’d go here again for a beer.
Visiting in town for work and found this gem after i tried to Flashback and it was closed. Providence brought me to Garland City, and i am over joyed it did. Best damn cheese curds I ever had in my life. Get ready for the blasphemous statement. I have been to Wisconsin ad partook in cheese curds from their motherland. Love GCBW! Have been a fan since the beginning, but after a recent late afternoon stop, we had to do a new review. We ordered chicken nachos and a pulled pork sandwich, along with a couple beers, and not only was everything great, as well as very reasonably priced, but we also had enough for another full meal for the two of us with the leftovers! Great service, too. So lucky to have this fantastic place in our backyard!
I absolutely adore this place! My husband and I try to come every Wednesday for trivia night. It's a great time, and despite the crowds, the staff is always attentive and makes sure we're taken care of. The food is served in a reasonable amount of time, even when they’re busy, and it’s fantastic! My personal favorite is the garlic cheese curds. Plus, there’s plenty of parking available, which is a nice bonus!
This cozy and inviting mid-sized town brewpub offers delicious food and drinks. The newly added covered patio is a fantastic addition, featuring plenty of seating and a corn hole area for fun.
