The atmosphere is fantastic, and I have high hopes for the food; however, the service leaves much to be desired. Despite having a reservation, our wait was incredibly lengthy. It took us 10 minutes to get the attention of a server to confirm our table, only to be told that "the table will be ready." After that, we waited another 10 minutes with no one in sight to assist us. We were left without water or a place to sit while staring longingly at an empty table right in front of us. At one point, a server even walked behind the bar and made eye contact with us, yet we still received no service. The food was outstanding, earning a perfect score. I highly recommend trying the Wood Grilled Shishito Peppers and the Wood Grilled Wild Spanish Octopus; both dishes were absolutely delicious. The service was top-notch, attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was inviting and pleasant. Overall, a fantastic evening!
This was one of the best meals I've had in a long time! I went with a couple other people so we were able to try a lot of things on the menu and everything was excellent. The building and atmosphere is also very unique and beautiful. The service was slow but I would not recommend going here if you are in a rush, so no complaints. Not only was the food excellent, but it was unique, I would definitely go back to try more items on the menu.
This was my first visit, and I can certainly say I will be returning. Every dish we tried was outstanding. The octopus was grilled to perfection, and the beef empanadas had a wonderfully thin, flaky crust that was just right. I wish I could give La Bodega more than 5 stars! Everything—food, service, and atmosphere—was absolutely outstanding (and delicious!). My only regret is that I didn’t take a single picture to remember this wonderful experience, but we were too busy savoring every last bite! I highly, highly recommend it!
Absolutely amazing experience! This unique little gem is a masterpiece! The food unreal and delicious. The drinks gorgeous and perfect. The atmosphere 10/10! The service like family. I couldn’t recommend this place any higher. Try and grab a reservation beforehand and enjoy!
Very attentive and professional service. The food is delicious and fresh, albeit a bit foreign. But not enough to ruin the experience. The restaurant itself is surreal. A budd-liner turned into a dining car and a covered patio. Exquisite
