2 adults and 2 children restaurant empty on arrival at 5.00pm (had booked online). Seated, ordered drinks and food served by a disinterested, dishevelled looking waiter. Drinks came promptly but as restaurant was empty not too difficult to manage. 45 minutes later we asked the whereabouts of the food no real answer just a sort of murmur we thought of leaving at this point but the children were hungry and in the event food came out about 5 mins later. We had a fantastic brunch experience at this restaurant! Despite being 10 minutes late, we were pleased to find that our 90-minute boozy time was not deducted. The staff were very accommodating and started our time when we received our first drink. We opted for the cocktail option, which was only £45 and included about 6 drinks, making it excellent value for money. Each drink was well-made and you could taste the alcohol, rather than it being just juice. We appreciated that the drinks were freshly made on the spot, rather than pre-mixed. The burgers were delicious and satisfying, and the rosemary-salted chips were also excellent and came in a generous portion. I would definitely return here...
We went, as a family, for Sunday roast and couldn't have enjoyed it more! The food was piping hot, really delicious, cooked to perfection and generous in portion size. We all were blown away by how perfect it was. The chef did a brilliant job and everything on the plate was fantastic; so tasty! The service was professional, efficient and friendly. We couldn't recommend it highly enough and can't wait to return.
As we walked through Leigh on a Friday night, we decided to try out Garrards. We were not disappointed - the service was excellent, some of the best I've had in a restaurant in a while. The food was delicious, and the espresso martinis were fantastic (the cocktail deal drew us in). We will definitely be coming back and have been recommending it to everyone.

Made a last minute booking yesterday Friday night, very welcoming and friendly staff, food was excellent one of the best burgers I have had, chips great as well lovely and hot. Took advantage of cocktail deal on a Friday night very good cocktails. Friendly atmosphere and great music, will definitely be going back
Just popped in for a quick bite with my son. Never been here before but will definitely be back. Friendly staff and the food was top notch. Portions were on the large size that’s a good thing and everything tasted fresh and presented in a nice way 5 stars. Highly recommend
Such a good place to eat! The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was great. The prices are reasonable and the cocktails were good with a bonus deal of 2 for £15. I would definitely recommend going here for a dinner out.
A lively atmosphere for a Saturday afternoon bottomless brunch. Enjoyed the food and drinks. My only suggestion would be to use bigger serving plates .. the huge, stacked burgers are not easy to eat and need disassembling unless you have huge jaws
