Yesterday I went to Gemellis Italy for the first time. It was a Friday and in the middle of lunch, but I wanted to see how the place was running. Gemelli 's is a market specialized in Italian and Italian American products. The first thing I saw was that it was very busy, which is always a good sign. At my right there were cold cases with deserts, Italian imported cheese (and some American brands such as Auriccio), as well as imported and American-made cold cuts such as Prosciutto di Parma, Capiccola, Salamis, etc. On the wall there was a huge menu with hot and cold Italian style sandwiches and salads. Left, a mini-mart, with a wall-to-wall selection of both imported and American made Italian...
Gemelli 's is the first restaurant where I've been to sell pizza 50% baked, which is a good idea for those who pick up an order, but are looking for this fresh, from the oven pizza! They give instructions about time and time to bake the remaining 50%. Their hot and cold subs are amazing. Recommend Italiano! Gemelli 's also has a small market inside with cheese, pizza dough, meat, sauces, pasta and more.
Authentic, delicious fresh! Loved this market. My mom, I shared the Italian sub, meatball, Gelato Tiramisu. I can't wait to go back with a small cooler to store some delicious cheese! Also want to taste some of the wines. That was the best Tiramisu I ever had! I also bought the frozen chicken marsala to make dinner at home. All right!
Oh man. This place is amazing. The fresh pasta selection is awesome. And great. And the prepared frozen homemade foods are even better. We did the spinach and cheese lasagna and it was amazing. The pizza is great as well. Better than speciality pizzerias. And add the cookies and chocolates available, this place is a must go.
