from my counting there are 3 Vietnamese restaurants along rowe st, eastwood, but only one has a constant stream of customers who come to board. gai hoi is not the one. a few years ago I decided to try gai hoi when it was (I think) the first Vietnamese connection in eastwood. the bark pho and garnel I had were not excellent, but they were not bad either. a couple of days ago I decided to give them another shot, this time for their vermicelli black bones and grilled pork chop with noodles. again it looked like the restaurant had no other notch raised, but it did not go back. with their neighbour-competent, who settles in the masses, it would be a great victor for diner if they decide to compet...

Dinner time on Monday not much of rush in the Restaurent. Welcomed in. Thought waiters might not know English(often find this in this area) but surprising communication was good. Sat down and menu had lot of dishes. Cleanliness was average but better than some other...Vietnamese Restaurent I have been to. Condiments on the table needs some attention from the staff I guess some looks expired. We order pork rice dish. Turn around time was Farley good for a NOT busy day. And food looks very similar to the picture that was given in the menu. Food was very good actually. Prepared well I thought not for the giving sake I should say. May be because not a rushed day. Still thought it w as good. Enjo...

if we had a choice, we wouldn't go back to this place in eastwood. a few months ago we got what looked like a new roasted chicken when we ordered crispy skin with tomato rice. we had no choice tonight, as most of the shops are closed or closed on Monday. we ordered again “Kräuterndes huh with tomato rice” but what we got was fried chicken with almost no skin. definitely not what we expected. it is not worth the price and the 20-minute waiting time (which is not even full) there is much better Vietnamese place right next to this.

one of the largest chains of Vietnamese restaurants in sydney. they have a quite decent menu and happy for us, quite close to them. both the missus and I had the Vermicelli salad; black and spring rolls. really nice with much green and prefer for a hot summer dinner!/ pho was divided between the children and the portions were big-ish. children could not end the raw beef ball sorts. / so all-in-all a tie with the other famous restaurant along the road. Popped into this restaurant by chance. Pretty busy but was able to get a table for two within a few minutes of waiting. Nothing fancy in regards to decor. But the Pho was very, very tasty and humongous.Service was swift and to the point.

The menu looks good, lots of variety but the taste is poor. Had a pho and the beef didn’t taste very fresh. Soup base wasn’t flavourful and the rice noodles weren’t soft and smooth. For $14 a bowl, I say go elsewhere.

Roll in on the open on a Sunday. Floors are dirty from the night before. Staff are playing on their phones. After a 10 minute wait to order, we wait another 30 mins for food to be delivered. Wouldn't return

a busy little restaurant with fast service, although they might have to wait for a table. the food was delicious and fresh. the waitress has made any of our nude orders wrong, but they were still nice! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

this restaurant offers a large selection of nudes and authentic Vietnamese dishes. I ordered the rinderpho and the chicken laksa. huge portions and delicious.
