Okay so I was debating with the rating can 't really give the place a 3 1/2. I have had a lot of Peruvian food this place is just alright. Maybe a Peruvian doesn 't make the food. The chofan was decent if lacked a little flavor, but it wasn 't terrible. It had one mussel and 2 shrimps in a big $23 Plate. They left the stem in the yuca fries and all ppl that make yuca frita know you 're suppose to take that off. The sauce was very liquidy more like a dressing. Flavor wasn 't bad just the consistency wasn 't right. I 'm not sure if I 'd try this place again, if I wanted Peruvian food. I mainly ordered food from here because it was on my way home from work
This was my first and last time ordering from here. I was charged $34 for a small quarter chicken meal that was supposed to come with fries and steak, but instead, I received rice and fries with just a few pieces of steak. There was also no ketchup included. I felt ripped off! The food wasn't good either. I really don't understand how this place is still in business.
I definitely won't be returning. The food lacks authentic Peruvian flavor, and it seems like a Mexican cook might be the reason for that. Their breakfast could use significant improvement. If you're not Peruvian and enjoy this place, you might be missing out on true Peruvian cuisine. I recommend checking out Urubamba instead.
I come here for the delicious Doña Pepa cookies, but above all, for the chicha morada. I brought some friends with me who also enjoyed the food. I definitely recommend this charming family-run restaurant!

Eat is delicious! havent tried a plate that doesn't feel like home. aji de gallina, talarinen verdes, arrrroz chaufa. every time I go, I try another plate and never disappoint her.
Standard Peruvian fare, similar to most other Peruvian places, down-to-earth place, friendly service, good food , most clients seem to be local regulars.
