I have been to Ginger's 4 times but doubt if I will go again when there are better choices. The food is overpriced and pretty much the same as a lot of other places. The coffee is ordinary and the service is indifferent and can be very slow. The only real redeeming thing is that there is plenty of seating. Parking can be difficult. I personally would go to Alter Ego just a short walk away in Gilbert Street near the Capri where I always get great food and amazing service. Summary: Service terrible, food average, price expensive for what you get, coffee not great. Worth a try? Maybe but there are better places in the area.
FOOD: I got the big breakfast. No complaints here. Not the best scrambled eggs I've ever had, but they made up for it by the large portion size. Decent coffee and juices. VALUE: Comparable to other nearby establishments. ATMOSPHERE: This place is the definition of hipster. Fixie mounted on the wall, tattooed staff with funny haircuts and army boots Not that there's anything wrong with that. They were all very friendly. Its a lot bigger than I thought, with plenty of seating inside and out. Its not cramped like some other smaller cafes are. OVERALL: Mad decent.
This restaurant is incredibly charming and unique, located in a trendy area of Adelaide. The menu is intriguing, featuring thoughtfully selected ingredients. While the atmosphere could be more vibrant, the staff were wonderful—friendly and attentive throughout our visit. The presentation of the dishes was absolutely stunning. The zucchini and corn fritters were outstanding, and the fried chicken burger received high praise from everyone at the table. Overall, it’s a fantastic establishment with excellent food.

We discovered this restaurant after arriving too early for an exhibition at the fairground and needing to kill some time. We decided to have breakfast, and we absolutely loved it. The food was tasty, the coffee was fantastic, and the fresh juice was delicious. The service was quick and friendly as well. I highly recommend this place!
DISGUSTING. I ordered a garden salad and when I opened it a live earwig BUG crawled out of my salad. I rang Gingers, and they didnt even apologise. I will never go back because I dont like bugs through my food.
I was a couple of friends and family here. I love going to lunch here, my favorite is her veggie burger, who is so tasteful. eating is always great and the staff is always friendly.
