Coming from a New York Italian family, I've lived in various places, including the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Staten Island, before settling in Long Island. While David Portnoy rated this place an 8.0, I would argue that the quality is just above average. It doesn't quite measure up to a true borough-style slice and ranks lower on my list for Long Island options. Such a great spot! The food is delicious; the vodka slice, rigatoni fiorenta, and the cauliflower crusts are a must try. I was helped by a young man named Dominick and the service was excellent. I was referred here, and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious. My husband had the veal parmigiana, and I had the cauliflower pizza, which is to die for. I had a terrible experience with the pizza. The dough was undercooked, and it was overloaded with mozzarella while lacking any sauce. I ordered takeout and was really disappointed.
The pizza was fantastic, and everything we ordered was delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 out of 5.
