We quite like this restaurant.The service is good, prices are fair and the food is excellent.The trouble is it lacks atmosphere. In fact its got absolutely no atmosphere!The primary outlook is to the car park, which in itself it not a fault of the restaurant but its hardly enjoyable looking out to Foodworks and other shops. Now, if the windows were covered by blinds, very dark tint or curtains it would create a darkened 'bistro' environment which could then be enhanced by candles on the tables. We were visiting the area for 10 days and ate here 3 times. We had beautiful meals with excellent service on all occasions. This small family restaurant specialises in fresh Italian food. I had the fish of the day, all 3 times, it was that good and it was cooked to perfection with a gorgeous lemon pepper sauce. My husband had the seafood marinara 2 times and the fish the last time. Portions are generous. We tried 3 of the desserts and couldn't fault any of them.
We have been going to Gino's since the week he opened and have always hada brilliant meal. Since retirement we don't go as often as we used to go but when wedo we have never been disappointed. Gino, his wife Lena and daughter Sabrina arealways very welcoming. We would highly recommend people to give this restaurant a try as they won't be disappointed.
Our 2nd visit did not disappoint Dinner for our extended family , we all left happy and full This is a local joint , so don't expect water views , do expect great ( not fancy ) Italian food My only advice is BYO wine the wine list is small and basic and the BWS bottle shop near by has a very limited selection The veal is the pick on the menu

had dinner there, after given a drink manu, had to find someone to order our drinks, after the drink is served, had to find someone for food menu, had to find someone to order food, my pasta carbonara was very much like a cream pasta soup, bacon was so scarce that it could be easily classified as halal food, overpriced's ordinary restaurant
My wife and I met or friends here for an evening meal after work. They had been there before and said how good it was. They were not wrong. There were four of us and we each ordered for different meals. Each meal was perfectly presented and each meal tasted wonderful. The staff were happy, friendly, and knowledgeable. Loved itRecommend

If you want very authentic Italian food then Gino's Trattoria is the place to go. Food is fresh and cooked to perfection. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good location and easy parking. Would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion.

Wonderful food. ...this was our fourth visit. Consistently good and great service .We love all of their dishes. The Bruscetta is divine, the vegetables are beautiful and they always have great daily specials.
Gino's doesn't disappoint. Good quality and consistent food. Always delicious. Not too heavy. Reasonable value. One of my go to restaurants in the area
