Thanks to a Google search of restaurants in the Lexington area, my wife and I came to discover Giuseppe’s. We were in Lexington for a weekend getaway. Our first visit was 6/27. Our server, Timothy, made our visit a true dining experience!! We had such an enjoyable experience we asked Timothy if he could/would assist us in securing a reservation for 6 on 6/29. We were being joined by 2 other couples for the balance of the weekend. As a result of Timothy’s Herculean effort, he contacted us on the evening of 6/28 and informed of us he had secured a table for 6 on 6/29!!! I was there last night with a 10 top for a birthday party. It was the Otis party. Anyway the food and atmosphere and everything was good but our server was just really rude and short with us, not very personable. I work in the service industry and it just seemed like he probably shouldn’t be serving if that’s how he interacts with his tables. I don’t know if he was just mad about something or what it was but if he was it definitely showed. We didn’t let it ruin the experience for us but it certainly made me wish I had chose a different restaurant for my birthday dinner.
The calamari was great. Our server was good. My guests had the salmon and said it was delicious. However, I ordered the veal parmesan and it was awful! I had it there years ago and it was great. You could cut it with a fork. Tonight, it was paper thin and over cooked. I needed a steak knife to cut it. I couldn’t eat it. Had it not been for the calamari I would have left hungry. Don’t order the veal Parmesan!!!!!
From the moment you enter they make you feel special. The soft jazz was a great value. Tim did a wonderful job making sure the food came out hot. He waited till our appetizers were complete and the food came out beautiful and orderly. Very nice note enjoying dinner with my mother. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
That strawberry sauce paired with the cheese cake….. let me tell you. I think they make it in house??? I go almost every week and order the sauce alone. Fingers crossed they give me the recipe!! Brad P
It isn’t quite as enjoyable when they’re busy, but I think the service is worth the price. The waiters and waitresses are some of the best! Parking is kinda awful though.
Always look forward to eating here when visiting Lexington. Never disappoints! Food is great, came highly recommended to me and they weren't wrong. Enjoy.
