The Glen Ellyn Sweet Shoppe is a nice little candy shop in downtown Glen Ellyn that has a varied selection of all kinds if candy and treats. From the normal fare of pre-wrapped, big name brands to by-weight gummy deliciousness to by-weight chocolate this place nearly covers all the bases. In fact, for a kid, this place seemingly offers it all. However, I feel like it's lacking something it's competitors offer... Wheaton's Popcorn Shop has fresh-popped popcorn, Graham's Chocolate has homemade chocolate (and a soda fountain), and candy shops in Naperville offer ice cream and cotton candy. We drove from Oswego to visit this candy shop, which looked adorable in the photos and offered plenty of choices for our little one. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by what I presume is the owner and her lovely dog. However, the shop turned out to be much smaller than I expected, feeling quite cramped inside, so we didn't stay long. That said, the prices seemed quite reasonable, which was a plus; I just wish the space was more spacious. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but I doubt we would make the long trip from Oswego again.
The absolute best candy store I’ve ever been to. I go there all the time with my friends. They have an amazing selection and the nicest workers. If anyone ever passes by it I recommend dropping in! You won’t regret it!
Excellent spot! I tried the lemon cookie gelato and my daughter had chocolate. Very good! Can't wait to come back and hit up the homemade chocolates.

This little shop is super cute. They have homemade ice cream and root beer floats. Yummy. Lots of candy selection. The kids and I enjoy stopping in
The owners are so kind and they have the cutest dog there are so many things to buy so if you're looking for candy or just cool candy come here

Charming little shop with expensive sweets, but it's a lovely place to visit occasionally with my grandkids.
