Wish I could give them more than 5 stars. I simply do not have words to express my appreciation and delight at this place. After my diagnosis two years ago, I never imagined I would eat a pound cake and such awesome banana bread again. Not to mention their brownies which are nothing short of HEAVENLY. This place is simply unbelievable for their quality, taste, and pricing. The owner is also very helpful and friendly. Seriously, I am considering moving from NJ to NC only so I can visit them more often. If you are looking for a GF bakery in the Wilmington area, the search is over!
My whole family adores GF by the Sea. It’s such a delight for someone with celiac disease to have a dedicated gluten-free bakery in town. My daughter has some difficult allergies, and the owner has been incredibly helpful, collaborating with me multiple times to create birthday cakes and treats that meet her dietary needs. Even family members without allergies enjoy everything this bakery offers. Pictured is a cookie cake made for my daughter's 2nd birthday, and it was absolutely delicious! I ordered a birthday cake from this amazing bakery. I am only recently gluten free, and the cake exceeded my expectations for how great a gluten free cake could taste. I would highly, highly recommend this place for all gluten free baked good needs. It is clear they care greatly about their product, and they were so quick and professional with getting it prepared. I'm from Michigan, and there aren't many places near me that offer gluten-free baked goods. While on vacation in Wilmington, I decided to stop by and give it a try. Everything I tasted was absolutely delicious! I only wish I lived closer, because I would definitely be visiting every week.
The gf sandwich bread was the best gf bread I’ve ever had and the sweets I got were amazing. I hadn’t had linzer Cookies in years and even my non-gf mom couldn’t tell the difference. Highly recommend and I’ll be ordering cupcakes for an event later
Truly AMAZED by Cathy 's creation for one of my couples this weekend! A funfetti GF DF cake that tasted just as great as regular cake (maybe even better.. . Not only did it taste PHENOMENAL, it was also so beautiful. Highly recommend
