Food was great but service was not up to par. Only one server was on the floor the entire night, serving 3 different tables of 3+ guests. We had to repeat our order three times, waited an hour on our food and the order was still messed up. One person did not receive their food until everyone else at our table was done eating. We went on a Thursday where drink specials were advertised and was told that none of the specials were available. After being at the restaurant for over two hours with minimal service, we received our checks which were rung up incorrectly. Did not enjoy the experience overall.
I’m really glad I discovered this restaurant. It’s absolutely wonderful! The decor is stunning, and the atmosphere is incredibly inviting. The owner greeted us personally, which made us feel right at home. She is a true professional and a very humble person; I have a lot of appreciation for her and her staff. The food is delicious, and I plan to visit frequently just to try every item on the menu. This place is also friendly towards the LGBT community. The southern cuisine and fresh ingredients are fantastic. I loved it!
OMG!! I just learned about this spot yesterday and immediately added it to my must visit list. I 'm almost a bit nervous to share a review because it 's so challenging to find a restaurant in Columbia with no wait on a Sunday. I had fish and grits (heaven! And hubby had shrimp and grits and refused to share. Guess it was good, huh?? The service was amazing. Again, I 'm nervous to post as this is a gem, but I must mention the complimentary mimosas. I recently visited this amazing female-owned restaurant for the first time. The food was delicious, and the staff was fantastic. Although it's a hookah lounge, it wasn't overly smoky. The music was quite loud, but that might just be my personal preference. I tried the salmon bites, which were moist and flavorful, paired with perfectly seasoned fried okra. I tried this place out yesterday 2/24/2021 . Waited all day to visit this place due to it opening 4pm. I got there 4:15pm the place was not open. We waited at the door: bartender pulled up 5 minutes after that didn’t greet us just got out her car , walked pass us opened door, we walked in she said we could sit where we liked , we began to sit someone screamed from the kitchen that they weren’t ready to open so we were asked to leave. Not a great experience
The bartender was friendly and had good intentions, but that doesn't excuse the fact that the cook was not wearing gloves or a mask during a pandemic. My waffle was undercooked and had a strong taste of egg and salt. When I mentioned this to the cook, she blamed the waffle iron. On a positive note, I enjoyed the wings. As a form of compensation, they took $1 off my bill.
I dropped in for an unplanned dinner with friends, and it was a great experience. The food and service were outstanding. I ordered the chicken salad with fries, and it's now my favorite spot for chicken salad. Although there was a mix-up with one of our orders, our server handled it graciously and resolved it swiftly. I will definitely be back soon!

The food was incredible, and the owners are very involved, making you feel right at home! You won't find a better lunch special anywhere, both in terms of price and quality. Treat yourself and go there!
