I don’t eat out. After din a friends house, I have since had it probably 6 other times…. In 3 months. I also don’t eat orange chicken, in my 25 years of life, I have been Converted!!!! I get the orange chicken, Medium spicy (I have never been asked if I wanted orange chicken a spice level! and it kicks orange chick into its own level!! The potstickers remind me of Bun Bao dough with a fat juicy meatball inside. Amazing. The Mongolian chicken is great, the Crab Rangoon could be better if I had any critique it’s never enough filling and I like when they are folded a different way. All the prices are reasonable and I’ve never been Over salted here. Just try it once…. !! <3
The service is frustrating. They don't make any effort to accommodate or be friendly in any way. We were the only people there, and I had to wait over 10 minutes just to order a beer. Every person that came in for a phone in order or to be seated got priority over us. Food seems fresh and limited menu is affordable but if I wanted to feel like bad about being an imposition, I would go to my grandma's house. I had the same experience the last time we went in. Do better.
It's the best Chinese food you will find in Vancouver area. Not that there is much competition but after trying quite a few places Golden City has been the most consistent. Prices and amount of food you get is a big plus. They tend to be a bit mild on the spiciness. Our favorites are the General tso chicken, sesame beef, chicken lo-mein.
I was really pleased with the General Tso's chicken; it hit the spot perfectly. I took it to go, and there was enough for two meals. The staff always appears to be very cheerful as well. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Best Chinese food I've eaten. Smells good walking through the door. Tastes even better. We didn't even take a picture until we were done because we couldn't wait to eat.
