We recently moved to the area and were excited to explore different dining options. When we had guests over, we decided to take them to Golden Eagle, and it turned out to be a great choice. All four of us were extremely satisfied with our meals. My filet mignon, which I ordered medium rare, was cooked to perfection. The twice-baked potato was fantastic as well. I also thoroughly enjoyed the chocolate mousse for dessert—it's a rare find these days, so I was delighted to see it on the menu. We received exceptional service from Joey, who was attentive without being overbearing—a skill many restaurants and servers struggle to achieve. When we left, we all agreed that we would definitely return.
I dined in for dinner and had an excellent experience, with the meal costing between $10 and $20 per person. The food was outstanding, earning a perfect score of 5, and the service was equally impressive, also rated a 5. The atmosphere was inviting and enjoyable, again receiving a score of 5. I highly recommend trying the Bread Basket, Clam Chowder, and Calamari – they were all fantastic!
Wow! Amazing meal and we didn't even know this restaurant was there. You can't see it from the road but our friends suggested it. My husband and I both had the tenderloin medallions with portobello mushrooms. Delicious! The side was fantastic too. Generous salad to start the meal with the house dressing that was yummy. We would definitely recommend!
Amazing meal. First time there and highly impressed. The clan chowder rivaled any I've had in cape cod MA, which was very surprising. The traverse City salad upgrade was excellent. Excellent service and scrumptious food! Both kids and adults have a wonderful time here. They serve the best clam chowder in the region, and the salads are generously portioned. The prime rib is fantastic as well!
The service was exceptional! The food was amazing! The escargot was out of this world… be sure to take the extra sauce you have left over from the escargot home; it’s perfect for cooking shrimp!
Cute local staple with great food. Service was amazing when we brought in a party of 15 for a family birthday. Highly recommend the Steak Medallions with mushrooms!
