I've ordered from Golden Marrow twice now, and I absolutely their products and service. I lovelovelove bone marrow, and I'm so happy that Golden Marrow offers bone marrow to be easily made at home! I've tried the following flavors: Nude Korean gochujang Bacon jam Teriyaki Nude is definitely my fav since you get to season it however you want I did a simple coarse sea salt and black pepper drizzled with EVOO, and after baking, topped it on sliced baguettes. For the gochujang, I paired that with a simple garlic fried rice and mixed the bone marrow into the rice super good, but it was a little too rich for me (I think doing a higher rice to marrow ratio would have been better). We opted for the unseasoned, plain bone marrow because we wanted to have it as an accompaniment to the other dishes we were cooking caramelized shallot pasta and a lemon vinaigrette salad). My family and I had never tried bone marrow before. My son picked The Golden Marrow for part of his birthday dinner after seeing all the 5-star reviews. We ordered Black Garlic Glaze, Bulgogi, Signature Nude (that you can season yourself) and Korean Gochu Glaze. The pickup location was on the way to my mother's house, so I got to meet one of the owners, Calvin. Terrific guy! We opted to spread the bone marrow on thin slices of mini French bread as an appetizer. It was a huge hit; nothing was left. Let me just say, I LOVE bone marrow . It was perfect timing that a friend of mine tagged me in her giveaway with The Golden Marrow. My husband and I went back on keto after I was off it for about a year because I got pregnant and just had a baby earlier this year--meaning, I craved all the carbs lol. But like I said, the timing couldn't have been more perfect and what made it even more perfect was that I was one of the giveaway winners! Needless to say, I was so excited for my prize! I have been following the Golden Marrow for a while. I love cooking so I really wanted to try their product. They only had local pickup and I'm in the bay area so I kept in touch with them hoping they would offer shipping soon. When they started shipping their product, I immediately put in an order! I ordered three flavors: Black Garlic, Teriyaki and Korean Gochu. They arrived nice and safe. I've tried two of the three so far and they were both DELICIOUS. I can't wait to make another order! You are also supporting a great cause! Each purchase helps feed 10 meals through the Feeding America organization.
Tried this pop up booth at the 626 Night Market. I love eating bone marrow so I was glad to try the many different and inventive ways to eat. The first one I had was bone marrow with garlic noodles. You have to eat this dish piping hot. Once the noodles get cold, I didn't want to continue to eat it. The bone marrow I had no problem finishing first. There are lots of people that don't like eating bone marrow. Hope I get to get bone marrow again at the next event they will be participating at.
My first time trying bone marrow and it's so delicious! Pick up was convenient and easy! They gave me instructions on how to bake in the oven or grill. My teriyaki bone marrow came out amazing. Super buttery and creamy. Can't wait to try more flavors!
