I've always loved ordering bone marrow from French restaurants--an amazing burst of flavor on some baguette. I decided to give The Golden Marrow a try, buying the 8 family pack of the black garlic (currently priced at $64. . They come in individual vacuumed seal bags of 2 with super easy-to-follow instructions. Thawing (10 min and cooking time (15 min was perfect (see pictures attached . Let me just say, I LOVE bone marrow . It was perfect timing that a friend of mine tagged me in her giveaway with The Golden Marrow. My husband and I went back on keto after I was off it for about a year because I got pregnant and just had a baby earlier this year--meaning, I craved all the carbs lol. I have been following the Golden Marrow for a while. I love cooking so I really wanted to try their product. They only had local pickup and I'm in the bay area so I kept in touch with them hoping they would offer shipping soon. When they started shipping their product, I immediately put in an order! I ordered three flavors: Black Garlic, Teriyaki and Korean Gochu. They arrived nice and safe. I've tried two of the three so far and they were both DELICIOUS. I can't wait to make another order! Tried this during at the 626 market last year. I'm finally getting around to write the review. It was definitely one of my favorite this that night. The bone marrow had the best texture and garlic added the best crunch to it. They serve it on top of little bits of egg noodle. Also, there were gold flakes on top of the bone marrow which made it extra pretty to look at!
I've ordered 3 times now and I love these bone marrow! Easy to cook and super yummy! What more could I ask for? The flavors are just right and satisfied my bone marrow cravings during covid. My first time trying bone marrow and it's so delicious! Pick up was convenient and easy! They gave me instructions on how to bake in the oven or grill. My teriyaki bone marrow came out amazing. Super buttery and creamy. Can't wait to try more flavors!
