I travel a lot and come here as much as I can when I’m not working. This place has a great selection for lunch. Well I guess that changed. The sign out front says Breakfast Lunch and so does all the websites. I was shocked to find out they don’t serve lunch anymore. They could at least changed it all instead of just the menu. It’s been like this for 4+ months is what I was told.On the other hand my waitress was great and super apologetic for not serving lunch anymore. She talked me into staying and ordering some breakfast. I got the French toast combo with strawberries.Well I hope they reconsider bringing lunch back or changing all the signage. It’s false advertisement really.
We were looking for a good, Sunday morning breakfast spot, and Golden Oak Pancake House was exactly what we wanted. It was pretty busy, but he dining room is fairly large and seats a lot of folks. We had actually just left another breakfast place not far away because the weight was too long. When we got to Golden Oak, in spite of the number of people there, we only waited about 5 to 10 minutes. Additionally, service is extremely fast. For being as busy as they were, they were very attentive, and it didn't take long before we had our food. And the food is absolutely wonderful. Really great diner style breakfasts. Top notch breakfast joint!
My family and I love coming here for breakfast. We always recommend this place to friends and other family too. It?s clean, and the staff is always friendly. We have never had a bad experience yet, and even when they are busy with every seat filled. The food is always so good, and fills you right up. Truly a good local breakfast place.
Country fried steak, gravy and 2 eggs over easy . . . It doesn't get any better than that for breakfast! Who eats vegetarian for breakfast?! Very kid friendly and wonderful service. I have no dietary restrictions, parking is plenty and the restaurant is very whchr accessible.
The place was packed. It was a Sunday morning after all. The waitress was nice. Gave us all waters.Our breakfast was really good. Pancakes..yummy!!The bathroom was clean, only one per person. Took our check to the front to pay and he was very friendly.
First time here and it was amazing. It was so busy which had me a bit worried but the service was excellent and the food came out in no time at all. I thought the portions were huge, none of us could finish our meals.
Hands down....best breakfast around! You get that country feel and taste. Do not go to IHOP again until you've tried this! Very reasonable prices for portions and service was top notch and personal.
