This is the original dim sum restaurant in the area! They never disappoint! During the pandemic, we have been ordering a lot of takeout dim sum and it has been fantastic. I always eagerly anticipate eating here. The food is fresh and authentic. Plus, we always request flats only when ordering chicken wings. Can you believe it?! As a flats lover, this is a dream come true. This place is amazing. Make sure to stop by if you're in the area.
Most items are Gluten Free or can be made GF, but some staff don't know that. Unfortunately the menu isn't marked at all. I especially like the Chow Fun w/Beef, pepper beef, and the General Tsao Chicken (which has a little soy sauce, but I believe soy sauce is traditionally technically GF with <5ppm. Still, I take a GF pill from CVS anyway).
Order Sweet and Sour Chicken Chicken Wings too go. Got home, got comfortable to dig into the food, food taste horrible! Tasteless dry Chicken the rice taste overdue for the trash and all went into trash. Except the egg roll which was just okay. This restaurant serves the best food, without a doubt. The chefs are top-notch, and if you don't see something on the menu, the owners are willing to prepare it for you. This Chinese restaurant in Montville/Uncasville is among the best. The bar offers excellent drinks and the chicken wings are outstanding. It's a great spot for a meal if you're in the area. A hidden gem worth discovering.
