Its 9.30pm on Sunday and I feel very guilty about not leaving more of my Sunday lunch today behind on the plate. The 2 slabs of slow roast pork shoulder with roast potatoes, cauliflower, other veg and mash etc absolutely totally delicious. Probably nicest one for years and years. Best was the gravy and the crispy bits of crackling......... Before I knew what had happened I had wolfed most of it down. Too stuffed so had to pass on dinner tonight will probably not manage breakfast tomorrow. I will prepare myself next time by avoiding breakfast so i can do it justice. My wife and I visited this restaurant for our first date night since our son was born, and it was a fantastic choice! The atmosphere was wonderful, the food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. We had a great evening and appreciated that they frequently update their menu, offering something new and exciting to try on our next visit. Additionally, they have a fantastic selection of gins available.
I had a great experience yesterday at the new Goldings restaurant. The staff was very welcoming and attentive, providing excellent service. The meal was also delicious. It was nice to see a familiar face there and they did a great job. I used to be a regular at the old Golding's, and the new restaurant is just as good. Kudos to Lucy and Richard for a job well done.
beautiful place to stop, either for a sniffy pint, or for a session. the young seem to come with cool little ideas to keep the dinge fresh, as the cocktail collaboration at this weekend with norfolk juice. good mood, busy and busy atmosphere, great drinks and what looks like a tasty dinner. bad picture (on my part) but it shows the beautiful branding. I visited the new Goldings yesterday and was very impressed. The staff was welcoming and attentive, providing excellent service. The meal was delicious and it was nice to see the same high quality as the old Golding's. I am a regular at the old location, and the new one did not disappoint. best room in town, by far! goldings is perfectly executed, bar and restaurant and room, and has friendly and competent staff. highlights: huge, clean rooms. Halumi chips (test em.) elaborate, unique drinks. 4 bathrooms. once again friendly staff. fast internet. less than ideal: zero – keep them up and enjoy them!
