We really enjoyed it here. Their menu has so many enticing items that I wanted to try many of them. I settled on lemon pancakes and quiche, and was not disappointed! They had good kid friendly options also, and kid menus and crayons to keep them occupied. The place is big and open, bustling, the kind of place that I'm not afraid to take my loud 2 and 4 year old kids. The service was very friendly and quick. The thing I may have appreciated most was that their cream is served in a mini carafe, instead of just a bowl of pre packaged creamer cups this is becoming far less common and I always appreciate it. That, and their orange juice is fresh squeezed and delicious!
We were here for brunch. Make reservations. The place is jam-packed. Very tight seating. I had the apple souffle pancake. It was huge, and actually pretty good. However, it takes every bit of the 20 minutes to get it. My husband had the mushroom benny, which came with fried potatoes. He felt his food was barely edible. The English muffin was super thin. The sauce was basically non-existent, and the potatoes were so salty, he couldn't eat them. So, I recommend sticking to things like pancakes. I kept my mask on except while eating. I was the only person in that throng of people at the entrance with a mask. Easy parking is in the front.
Went for the first time today. A reservation is a must- the place was PACKED on a Sunday morning. Like others have mentioned, your whole party needs to be present before being seated. I tried the glazed donut pancakes, and based on other reviews, I think I was expecting a better pancake. There was absolutely nothing wrong with them, but I would definitely order something different if I ever return. (I also wish there was a short stack option with a side included because the sides were kind of pricey to add on their own.
my first experience and it will not be my last! I had no breakfast that was tasteful in California since my year. with taking my “Tough as leather steaks” I couldn’t eat, I promise to send it back next time. I loved it! I stopped a quick breakfast before I could work close. when they were open, there was a whole line outside, so I thought it could take too long, but I did it anyway. so glad I did! this hard labor staff was quick and on everything! and that was great. the omelette I had was hearty, cheesy and tasty. the brotpudding French toast was tasty and comforting with a very sweet frost. I'd like to come back if I'm not in the hurry.
This place was recommended to me by friends. Great atmosphere. Lots of staff who seem to all be working together. That was one of the first things we noticed is that multiple people worked to clear tables and prep it for the next customer. The food was outstanding. I ordered a dish that my wife generally does not care for and when she tried a bite, even she loved it. One of the best breakfast places I've ever been to, no question.
for the first time on Friday morning to brunch. there were plenty of seats and we sat right away. the server and the waiting staff were fast and stopped at our table for refilling at the right time. we ordered beignets as app and they were the best I had in new orleans since my time. the fried egg sandwich was great and big enough for me to take half home. we will stop again to check the sweet side of the menu.
this is one of my top subway selections to have breakfast. they serve it all day. eating is always amazing. the service is always excellent. Sierra was my server several times. Best biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had in terms of flavor and seasoning. The GDC potatoes are a nice touch to the dish as well. Popovers are also super delicious! Overall great food and service and a warm atmosphere. Definitely will be back.
