I do not know how this restaurant received 3.8 stars. To give this restaurant a fair shot I ordered multiple items off the menu in the span of 3 weeks to make sure it wasn’t just a bad day in the kitchen. Ordered: Pot stickers, beef short ribs, orange chicken, chicken lo mein, and sweet sour pork. The pot stickers were slightly below average as they were not packed with much filling. The orange chicken should’ve been called the orange batter because the chicken was shaved and hammered so thin that I had to verify if it even existed at its core. I have ordered the delivery of Good Friends for years, and on several occasions a posture was given by the van. Tonight he arrived and directed the doorbell to every unit in the building, then clashed me when I answered the door and said he would call my phone (he didn't). Regardless of this, an exact address with a unit number was provided, so there was no reason he could not come to the door. He delivered here many times and not even was pleasant, but tonight was the last straw. I wish I could have understood what he said when he left. I've been a customer for a long time, but I'm not going to apply a business that treats its customers with such disregard.
Chinese dishes are ok, on par with lot of the Americanized Chinese food. But the real highlight here is their buffalo wings; must try! Big, juicy, and flavorful. Buffalo wings done better than most restaurants which I found ironic and unexpected. Delivery is always fast too. Wish they didn't put so many sauce packets though, never used those anyway.
I did not particularly enjoy the Chinese beef I ordered as the texture was different than I had anticipated. However, everything else at the restaurant was amazing. The pork fried rice, egg rolls, teriyaki beef, and wings were all great. I would highly recommend trying them.

I have been dining at this restaurant for years and overall it's great. The only thing I don't like is that they put too much pepper on their fried chicken wings. If they reduce the amount of pepper, they would be perfect again. The food is still yummy though.
This is the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. It’s past bland, is actually bad tasting. I had an awful aftertaste that wouldn’t go away, even after drinking twisted tea lol.
The food was ready in a reasonable time, it was good, and a reasonable price too.. I would recommend this place...a very friendly environment!
The boiled dumplings at this restaurant are, in my opinion, the best in Newport! They are hearty and flavorful. I highly recommend them!

I got general tso delivered and it was a bread ball with a string of chicken. Pretty terrible.
