This restaurant is an excellent selection of restaurants for the surroundings of Woodbury. Beautiful paintings are hanged throughout the restaurant, making it a striking and colorful environment that they also make for great entertainment. The menu is elaborate and tasteful, without being overwhelming. The wine card is well cured and there is a nice cocktail choice also to choose. Our server, Cody, was excellent. This was my first time trying out this restaurant and I was impressed. The menu offers a variety of options, including antelope burger, vegetarian dishes, and gluten-free choices. They also have daily specials. I started with the flash fire beef, which had a unique tangy taste. For my main dish, I ordered the kielbasa special with a delicious green horseradish sauce. My husband enjoyed his half portion of beef bolognese, which had a different twist. For dessert, I had the crème brûlée and my husband tried the mile high coconut cake - both were excellent. The good news is that this place is still open given some of the one star reviews. Had lunch there today: first course of pate (full of Provençal flavor! was delicious. The stuffed squash blossoms were fine. Lobster soup was the same as always, although $12 a cup does seem pricey. The Vietnam Ground Pork Salad I ordered tasted off. Like, way off. The menu is so culturally diverse and everything so incredible that I go with the specials. The juice of the day is not to be ignored and the usual mealtime chatter will be conspiciously absent while you feast! For a casual cafe, the service is continental. Lovely group of people wait on you. Regardless of wherever you are, Carole Peck's Good News Cafe is worth the trip.

We had our lunch club here today, the food was excellent. The outside can be a bit deceiving, but the inside is nicely decorated, with modern decor and lots of paintings hanging that are for sale. The service was good, attentive, and polite. The owner, Carol, came over and spoke to us for a few minutes. We will most definitely be back.
I have been going here for years and the food is absolutely delicious and fresh! My boys are in love with the antelope burger and who can blame them, it's the best burger ever!!! Service is fantastic and homey. They can get busy at peak times so take your time enjoy your meal when served.

The food is delicious, the service is excellent, with ingredients sourced from a natural farm for a real and fresh taste. This is my wife's preferred restaurant and always a special treat for us since we live far away.
