This used to be a great bar with amazing burgers. They now do a poor version of tapas style dishes. We should have realised when one of the dishes was unavailable but they had it on skewers instead that it was pre prepared and reheated on site. The duck croquette had no duck evident. The chicken and chorizo skewers were chewy and over powered by chorizo. The calamari was inedible, possibly worst I’ve ever had. Annoyingly, I asked to add a 10%, £4.50 tip as despite the food, service was ok. I realised later that this had been rounded up to just over £5, I assume as maths was easier. Disgraceful! Shame, as this place used to be so good!
Service was great but we were really disappointed with some of the Tapas that we ordered. The duck croquettes were lovely as were the chicken and chorizo skewers if a bit dry) and the mammoth green olives were yum. Nice Halloumi fries . The patatas bravas were just about edible but the king prawn siracha was a real disappointment with just 6 tiny prawns, definitely not king size, and at £8.50 I asked for the dish to be removed which they did so reluctantly. Sorry won't be going back
Tapas came out in ‘courses’ which we weren’t told about to make it a bit awkward when some of us were planning to share most dishes. Nice ambience and good service generally but we were told a lot of what we ordered was not available afterward and had to chose other things. Food was well presented and quite tasty except the Duck and sweet potato croquettes. They did not hold their shape at all well, far too soggy and lacked any flavour other than the side sauce to cover it.
Always enjoyed my visits to GB’s. Food had improved and cocktails were good. Only down side, the bill turned up and was nearly £200 for five tapas dishes and six drinks. On querying this, the waitress took the bill away and returned with an amended bill that was £90 cheaper?! She claimed one extra drink (never received) had been removed plus some tonics though not entirely sure how these items would total £90?! Apart from that, would return but will check the bill

Great place for breakfast. Classic breakfast dishes made well and great service at a fair price. The staff are very attentive especially when it comes to refilling the bottomless filter coffee! Highly recommended.
Good food and service but the music was was too loud and tinny/percussive to have a family conversation. Although they turned it down a bit when asked it was still too intrusive
I booked immediately after for dinner later this week. The food was delicious, plentiful and great value. The service was faultless and they were so friendly.
Food was delicious. Great choice of wines. Staff were lovely, very good service. My favourite place to meet friends at the moment.
