It is easy to overlook this place if you are just walking past, possibly on your way to one of the trendier eateries in Mt Lawley. From the outside looking in, it is just a smallish place with plain white tables and yellow plastic chairs...but if you dismiss it on this basis, you are missing out on some delicious food! (And those chairs are actually quite comfy...)Quick table service, generous well-priced dishes served piping hot straight from the wok. The pad thai is beautifully presented and one of the best around. I asked for rice noodles rather than egg noodles in my mee goreng and it was no trouble. Us Melbournians visited our Mt Lawley based daughter and one night decided to get takeaway. This place supplied excellent food. No short cuts as they include lots of the expensive main items in each dish plus a some wonderful complement vegetables. They also catered for some dietary restrictions with no fuss. Service was a couple minutes longer due to it being busy (confirmed when seeing the number of people there!) and price was fair. If we had time we would have gone back for another meal.
We originally discovered this restaurant via the Entertainment Book, and this discovery alone made the purchase of the book worthwhile.The food here is continuously good, and so cheap that it's hard not to be tempted to come here rather than cook dinner!If you're planning on dine in, be warned that it does get extremely busy, so either come just as it opens or wait an hour or two so that the initial crowd dies down a bit.
We had one of the freshest and vibrant Malaysia dinners. We had the pad Thai fried noodles with chicken and tofu, and the honey soy black pepper beef fillet. The beef dish was the best with lovely fresh and well cooked vegetables. The pad Thai was good with a delicate flavour. I had the satay vegetables with rice and it was the best meal i have had for a long time from a mainstream restaurant.My hubby had the seschuan chicken with noodles. His was good but mine was the pick. Very accommodating and friendly staff. Small place with a good atmosphere.Just need cold water for the tables.
Amazing restaurant, the food is always fresh, tasty, large variety. They make the best Nasi Goreng outside of Bali. They have a great variety for gluten free. The restaurant is always busy both inside and with take-away. We go almost every week. The staff are always polite and helpful.
First visit here for take away was good. The pepper beef well cooked and tasty, noodles with veg also well cooked and tasty. Very reasonable prices and quick to cook. Definitely recommend based on first experience and will return to try more dishes.

Got takeaway on a Saturday night, it was busy we wandered around, exploring the area while we waited 20 minutes, good to get the appetite going, large portions enough for two meals in one serving. Fresh tasty food.
