Their staff struggle with the concept of what a bar tab limit means as they had no issues with allowing the bar tab I had set to run more than 1.5x !! over before handing me the bill and telling me that they will now close my bar tab. I booked this place for my birthday and in preparation twice called Grain Bar to confirm the bar tab limit. On both occasions the person I spoke to over the phone assured me she had made a note of my bar tab limit and that the staff that were going to be looking after my table would be made aware of this. Everything here is pricey but given the number of overpriced cocktails we’ve had in average bars, it was such a delight to get delicious, beautifully presented overpriced cocktails served by friendly, experts…such a treat to be in a lovely bar for a change!
Forced to eat here when everything else around the Circular Quay was closed. Drinks were fine but I expected a bit more on the menu from the Four Seasons bar!
Excellent staff. All very friendly and helpful. Good selection of cocktails and wine. Happy to drop here even if not staying in house
