Grainmaker offers a variety of vegan bowls for you to choose from, or you can create your own. I sampled the chef’s curry with crispy tofu and treated myself to a vegan brownie. The curry was good, but there wasn’t anything particularly special about it, and I found the brownie to be too sweet for my liking. On the plus side, the portions were generous and the prices reasonable. Overall, it’s a convenient place for a quick and satisfying meal.
OMG this was so good! I had the seasonal teriyaki dish. The guy taking my order was very patient when I was indecisive. The restaurant has limited seating, very modern rustic with lots of wood. Price was $10.85 which was very reasonable for dinner.Wish they had this place back home. Sign on the door said voted best in 2021 now I see why.
This restaurant is simply amazing! With three locations in the Boston area, I really hope they expand with more franchises in the future. The food is incredibly tasty, and everything is both gluten-free and dairy-free, yet still very enjoyable for those without dietary restrictions. We definitely need more places like this!

I absolutely love Grainmaker! Its convenient location near my workplace makes it my favorite spot among the many popular restaurants in Boston. The noodles are amazing, the food is always perfectly seasoned and never dry, and the sauces are delightful. I can only say good things about it!

I was somewhat disappointed with the flavor of the food. I created my own bowl, so it might have been my mistake. However, I really appreciated that everything was dairy-free and gluten-free. The dumplings and broccoli were delicious—perfectly cooked and packed with flavor.
