Grand Chinese Restaurant

We ordered and shared dishes such as garlic pea leaves, salt pepper squid, seafood chow mein, and spicy ginger beef. The presentations were nice, the servings were generous, and the dishes were served in a timely manner. The flavors were distinct and flavorful, with the spices at a perfect medium level. The pea leaves were fresh and crispy, the ginger beef was tender and chewy, and the squid was juicy with a spicy coating. The chow mein had perfectly cooked noodles and tender seafood and vegetables. Overall, The Grand Chinese Restaurant was a great choice for lunch. The food was delicious and well-prepared, and the service was attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience there.

The Grand Chinese Restaurant, despite its generic name, is a recently opened establishment located near Brentwood in a small strip mall. We decided to visit on Christmas Eve while in the area and were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food. The kitchen is visible to diners, allowing us to watch as they hand-pulled noodles behind a glass wall. The menu is reminiscent of dishes found at Peaceful, so we ended up ordering similar dishes that we typically enjoy at that restaurant.

I was disappointed to find out that my beloved sushi restaurant near my office in Burnaby had closed, but Grand Chinese has done a fantastic job filling the void.

WOW!__I'm loving the flexibility here! _I fell off my whole food plant based diet for a while and this place served up the most lovely decadent dishes.
