The cabin my 3 kids and I stayed in was filthy. My smallest was crawling on the floor and got filthy dirty! There were cob webs on all the windows and dust on everything. When I confronted them about this the man was horribly rude. While his wife defended him, her husband checked the cabin and told me it was clean, yelling at me telling me cobwebs happen overnight. Horrible experience. Stay away from these dirty cabins and rude owners. I won't even mention the snide remark the woman made to my father about me. Atleast I got our money back. You don't yell at your paying guests!
This place is amazing I love it it’s a older camp ground and is so relaxing and peaceful it’s a amazing great breakfast buffet on weekends and I would recommend this to anyone unless your wanting a condo in woods but what fun is that if your camping and going for relaxation I love the place been going there for 20 yrs alwys the same great people ray and doe are awesome love seeing the cross out back it’s a just a great peaceful place if your wanting a a condo then go some wehrre else if you want to camp and relax this is athe place love you mama die and ray !!!
2nd time my Mum and I have stayed here in 5 years. We had the “park model”. Very peaceful environment. The cabin was clean, roomy, well stocked and cool. The beds comfy. Big porch to lounge on and watch the fire. Mama and Papa Doe and their daughter were very welcoming and helpful. Very good price for 3 days! Would absolutely recommend whether summer or fall to visit Cook Forest! 5 stars!!!
