A small, local favorite with the best food in town! The owner provides an atmosphere unlike any other. With favorites such as chicken shawarma, hummus, grape leafs, and vegetarian options there is so much to choose from. You can watch your food as it's made fresh to order, and have Mike or any of his wonderful staff serve you at your table. Searched for a middle eastern cuisine in southern pines area came across Grape Leaf Bistro I am so happy my family I tried it out. The service was phenomenal! The owner was so sweet really took pride in his food culture wanted us to try a little of everything. We were all blown away by the food! We left with our stomachs hearts full! We will definitely be back! Thank you for being so welcoming! New to the area, we were looking for authentic Mediterranean food and this place absolutely delivered delicious and varied options. Everything we ordered (1/2 the menu) was wonderful. The owner came out to meet with us, we knew immediately he was passionate about his food and was delighted to see people enjoy his dishes. We will be back frequently! The Mediterranean food at this restaurant is delicious, but the atmosphere is a bit overpriced. We chose to dine outside because it was too hot inside, but unfortunately, we were constantly being interrupted by bees nests. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience. I would recommend getting takeout instead of dining in, as the food was really good. It might not be the best spot for a date night. Out of all the Mediterranean places I have gone to outside of the actual country of Turkey, this place has the most phenomenal flavor. They cook your beef kabobs the way you want them not just slap them on the grill dried out and overcooked The chicken was marinated with some kind of seasoning that definitely wakes your taste buds up.
