This restaurant has only been open in Tustin for a couple of months so I don't understand the poor reviews about coming here two years ago. Must be some mix up. I have been here four times now! I love the friendliness of the staff, the quick turn around with the meals, the taste of the food and the great prices. I love the grilled fish tacos where I get two and a side of beans. I'm not a rice eater, but love the other items. There is a salsa bar that I hadn't noticed, yet the server asked if I wanted anything from it and after our chat, brought me two to try. Next time in, it will be for the Lobster. I've checked pricing and it is the best around so wearing a bib and showing up hungry!
Tried this restaurant today and pleasantly surprised at the great food, ambiance and service. Tustin needed a good restaurant serving healthy foods. Good variety of seafood, chicken and other dishes. Something for everyone on the menu. Nice background music and very nice decor. Had a late lunch and everything was cooked to perfection. Had the chicken tacos combo plate. Loved the beans with feta on top which is lower fat than regular cheese. Service was excellent! Owner is very friendly and greets you as you come in making you feel so welcome. Love this place and will be back! Not fast food and not cheap eats. Reasonable prices for excellent food.
We go here once or twice a week...so I'm a little biased! This is a small, unpretentious restaurant. Order at the counter and serve yourself your drinks. The food is incredible! Sometimes I get a bowl. No lard in the beans. Sometimes I get the carnitas tacos--really tasty! My husband likes the Surf and Turf skewers with shrimp and steak. They have salads--truly something for everyone! The staff is always friendly, no matter who helps us. And everything is kept sparkling clean!
Support this fantastic culinary gem! They now offer takeout. This has become our go-to restaurant. We've sampled nearly everything on the menu, and it's always delicious! The meals are fresh, flavorful, and a great value. The staff is top-notch. The atmosphere is clean, comfortable, and inviting, complemented by pleasant thematic music playing in the background. The owner, Moe, is an experienced restaurateur who has created a winning formula at Off the Boat Fish Grill.

We have dined here twice and thoroughly enjoyed both experiences. The food is excellent. The fish is cooked just right and isn't excessively large, which helps to explain the prices. I also tried the lamb gyro salad, and it was fantastic. The restaurant is spotless, and there are options for indoor and outdoor seating on the sidewalk. Plus, the beer is served cold!
We went to this restaurant for the first time last night with some friends, and it was fantastic! The food was excellent, and the rice and beans were the best we've ever tasted. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We've decided that this is now our new favorite fast-casual dining spot.
Then it seems like the cook had different moods one day awesome one day over cooked. I loved it so bad that I came back the same day. Then...not the same along the days. Try at your discretion. May be the owner is there, and is cooking. In that case you have a very good reason to be there.
We ordered baba ghanoush (fresh and tasty), fish and veggie tacos (all tasty but the grilled fish was well seasoned and perfectly cooked) and grilled salmon with rice check out photos attached. I would call it Mediterranean fast food done right will definitely go back.

Went here based on reviews and it lives up to them. Lots of flavors and very tasty. Impressed by this unassuming spot. Gyro is very good. Basmati rice is the best I've had in a long time.
