I am editing this review, having spoken with the owner. He explained that at the end of the evening, sometimes the meat, being so to speak at the bottom of the pot, accumulates too much salt. He was happy to tell us that he would provide a replacement meal at any time so he is obviously a good spirit and willing to take responsibility.Following is my original review: I am from out of town and saw the reviews so I tried the chicken shawarma and the lamb shawarma. Both the dishes were terribly over salted. I must assume that it was a bad day as the reviews did not hint at how bad it turned out to be. Grape Leaves is a small operation so patience is sometimes necessary but worth the wait! The staff is very friendly and gracious.As far as the food... delicate and savory flavors abound. Their food has a pleasing intensity missing from many Mediterranean restaurants. This was a great find for us!

I like Moroccan food because it's so flavorful. The food was bland here! My friend and I shared a Moroccan chicken, a shwarma, and cigars. I liked the cinnamon that was in the beef cigars. Everything else was unfortunately pretty tasteless.

This place is great! The food is delicious and fresh. The staff is very friendly as well. My wife and I really enjoyed our meal and the time we spent here. I would highly recommend!!

So so so good!!!! And pretty affordable too. We ordered the cigars, chicken kebab, and the hummus. I will def be going again. Go here now!!!
