Have used this Chinese for quite a few years and always had brilliant service and food, so good that we would take half a dozen take away's each home (we live 20 miles from the nearest take away). Went for a meal last night but didn't order the take aways until we had tried the meal as a local in the hotel had told us to avoid as standards had dropped. Thank god we didn't order them as the food was absolutely awful. The staff couldn't care less and didn't know what the dishes consisted of. Small portions (thank god) and expensive. Having read some of the recent reviews we were unsure about whether to try the Great Wall. However we thought we'd give it a try and we're glad we did. The atmosphere and service were only about 4 star but then it was early in the evening. However the food was lovely. Delicious and tender barbecue spare ribs, great beef in black bean sauce and very tasty special curry. The rice was perfectly cooked, light and fluffy. If there had just been a couple more king prawns in the special curry it would have been perfect! I would recommend trying the Great Wall despite the earlier reviews.
Lovely restaurant, setting very authentic setting and no disrespects on all occasions visited there has only ever been the two lovely English guys taking your order and serving the meals and unfortunately we have not incurred any Asian influence as to the running or cooking as to the meals we have ordered or received but I may say we have never received a bad meal but no disrespects to the English guys serving the meals. The overall Chinese/ombience feeling is not there. But I will definitely 1visit again and hopefully there is more Asian influence.
Husband took me fir a meal out while we were at the north Euston hotel the food is exceptional the staff are knowledgable and friendly , explained the ingredients and said we could leave out what we didn’t like or add things we liked I had pork chi sau was delicious with boiled rice hubby had beef and vegetables and fried noodles he loved them both so much it was our second visit it 5 months and will be back the waiter supported Everton like my husband so they had a bit of a chat thank you all

Ordered a meal on for pick up stay at a caravan resort spent £37 in total wished I had cooked at home to be fair . Where do I start sweet and sour sauce like vinegar, prawn cracker stale no crunch to them and egg rice no taste it was old rice fried from previous day it was disgusting portion sizes were appalling to . Wouldn’t recommend at all
The food was not good at all the boiled rice was congealed in a big lump uneatable I was charged three pounds for that so I was not pleased. I ordered Chicken and pineapple and the only nice thing on the plate was the pineapple the carrots and bits of pepper were hard. The staff did not engage with us at all I certainly will not be returning.
Had a special friend rice it was disgusting no meat treasure hunt to find it avoid this place noticed at the bar cheap soft drinks they charge you top price wii your be retuning to ocean palace Blackpool simply the best avoid avoid the Great Wall Fleetwood they should build a wall in the door way
Nice friendly service. Good choice of lovely food. My wife and I eat here each time we visit Fleetwood 2 or 3 times a year. We have never had a better Chinese meal anywhere. The food is plentiful and prepared beautifully. Chinese beer to accompany it and a friendly courteous service. Thank you.

i ordered salt and pepper chicken and it was really slimy and very disgusting i didnt like it at all it didnt seem like it was cooked properly, i also orderd a j20 it came with a straw that looked dirty anyways moral of the story dont eat chicken from here.
Awful! No flavor, just extremely sweet sugar. Small grotty cold chips. Worst Chinese I’ve ever had. Totally not recommended
