Totally disappointed with the sushi menu. KIDDING! The wife and I like to have Greek dining once in a while and love the type of food Greek cuisine offers. Greek Islands Restaurant does a great job in delivering on quality. We always order the platter for 2 because we're gluttons and the variety that comes on the platter is great. Staff is always friendly and courteous. The atmosphere is nice. Not too loud and not the kind of place where people stare at you if you accidentally scrape your fork on your plate. My wife and I have been coming to the Greek islands since our youth. We're both now in our fifties and I'm still happy to eat here. A family-run business that takes care of its roots and strives to top customer service. Because we've come here for so many years, I think I had every dish on the menu, I have my favorites and go to us, can't go wrong with the Thallasopita, seafood delicious. Nikko has in any case still a passion for his family restaurant and it shows in the quality of food and the real setting of the staff. For us coming from Burnaby , it is really a hidden gem . The service offered by Sirene was diligent, courteous and very professional. Excellent Greek culinary and a huge variety of dishes in the menu . I had scargots and dolmades and my family had chicken and lamb souvlaki, exquisite beef lasagne, Greek salad, chicken stir fry teriyaki and roasted lamb….. all dishes well presented, generous portions and delicious . The crème brûlée is very good and also the chocolate cake . Prices are very affordable . Wine and cocktails are great . Appreciated the conversation with Nico the owner/ manager , who is very attentive with customers . It is a place where we have to go back pretty soon …..
Delicious as usual. Portion sizes are so generous and everything from tzatziki to lamb to carving was fantastic. Don't let me go to the baked lasagna! They created us for new years eve, and the service was fast and friendly as according to the norm. This place is a way for the family as long as I remember. Will always recommend, and I don't see that changing so fast.
We ordered take out tonight 30 minutes before close a big order. We are very thankful they took it. The food was amazing. My partner said the service was friendly and welcoming. Would really recommended this place. Our out of town family was very impressed as well. So happy we could place this order other wise it would have been pizza! Thanks again!
Our experience here was fantastic! Our host server was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The owner took 10 minutes to chat with us when it was busy. One of the best customer service experiences we've ever had sincerely. And the food was delicious, good value and served in a very timely way. Great place.
Excellent service and delicious food. We have never been disappointed with our meals in recent years. Your servers set the quality bar and other facilities could follow their example. My favorite dishes are beef or chicken souvlaki and lasagna. The soup is always and I love her Greek salad dress.
This place has really good food and great service! Our waitress checked in on my table many times and made us feel cared for. The portion sizes were also big! Overall, it was a great experience.
