The family run business serves a brilliant selection of my delicious vegan dishes by a friendly staff. I had 3 black bean tofu tacos and 1/2 Southwest bowl for lunch (a yummy protein rich combo). Even though I was more than full, I couldn't resist trying their vegan Softserve it brought me right back to my children. If you're in the neighborhood, by all means stop by and if not, it's worth the travel.
Green Street Eatery is chock full of friendly staff who take the time to learn your name, all your nutritional restrictions, and recombinant/adjust accordingly. The food is made with LOVE, and the feeling of decor is very warm and welcoming. You feel like an old friend when you're here! Unbelievable place we will definitely visit despite the distance from our house.
Ive had the Thai Bowl and the Vietnamese Fries, Southwest bowl. I think the Thai Bowl was the best, the tofu was cooked perfectly and the veggies had the locally grown taste. Also very good peanut butter cookie. Was out of luck, the whookie pie was sold out. Super friendly owner. Updated from previous review on 2022-07-04
Definitely our favorite spot on Long Island. Just celebrated Valentines Day there. It was their 3rd time doing it and our 3rd time attending. There are not that many vegan places on Long Island, that’s why I was so happy to find this little casual gem. My rainbow bowl was absolutely delicious and my friend enjoyed his tacos a lot. I have not tried any deserts, but they looked very good as well. Food was fresh and very tasty.
Green Street ALWAYS delivers on great food, atmosphere and service. I am thankful for their establishment and always can’t wait until my next visit!
