My husband took me to this beautiful place for our anniversary. All I can say is Wow. The service? Nothing less than spectacular! The best Fine dining experience I've ever had. We chose the three courses and got dessert as an extra. All my food and dessert were beautiful and not to mention delicious. We were very impressed. The ambience was quite romantic and even though customers sat close to each other it felt very private (because of the lighting). The restroom was decorated in details and very clean. 5 Stars doesn't do this place justice... The "Grill" (downstairs at Grossi Florentino) is a "must do" if dining in MEL CBD. The service & food is an experience you need to have. A great selection across many varieties makes it almost too difficult to choose. Staff are exceptional & really know their stuff. Many other diners were going to the theatres nearby so they were very accommodating to ensure their food was served promptly, whilst others weren't forgotten either. Given how good downstairs is... I can only imagine how good upstairs might be.... "Molte Grazie"
Visited this Bistro restaurant last week having had a delightful experience a few years earlier when upstairs. This time around it was sadly lacking. The first two dishes we ordered from the menu they were out of and then when entree arrived it was a small sausage cut irregularly in pieces. The main dish of chicken was grossly undercooked being red to pink in parts. Do not mind paying good money for quality food but this was grossly overpriced for what was served.

I organised a night out with friends at Grossi Florentino in the upstairs dining room. We ordered the five course tasting menu with matching wines. One of our party is strict gluten free and this request was catered for without any compromise in the quality or variety in the menu. The food was fantastic, the service faultless and we had a truly wonderful night. Highly recommended!
This place is a must if you love good steak or Italian food. My son and I had a plate of several pasture fed steaks that were cooked to perfection and served with passion. The whole place and every staff member is on point and excellent wait staff are knowledgeable and smile ! Great wine list. We had a well priced Barolo with our steak but there was many others to choose from.
We enjoyed a fabulous night. The service is second to none. Faultless ! We choose the 6 course dinner, which ended up 8 courses with Premium wines to match and the flavours were incredible ! The wine were great as well and interesting as some of them came from around the world for different reasons. A very enjoyable tasting with sophistication.
We went to The Grill on the street level and had the 3 course lunch special. The Gnocchi was delicious and just melted in your mouth. The chicken dish amazing tastes and dessert to top it all off. The staff very helpful and friendly. Will definitely be coming back here.
