At the Grotto Eremo San Nicolao we first met wonderful people, Roberto and Letizia were really welcoming and kind. Lunch was really excellent, quality ingredients well enhanced by the kitchen that reflect the tradition of the area. The service was also great, fast, kind and never intrusive. Everything was embellished by the splendid hermitage in which the restaurant was born, a small monastery from the 1400s set in the rock of which Roberto told us its history and secrets. From the restaurant there is a beautiful view of the whole plain below. In short, much more than a mountain restaurant, I highly recommend it.
