I am thrilled to have discovered this place. As soon as you step inside, you’ll want to sink into one of those large couches and just stay. The coffee menu features classic options with a few unique twists, enhancing the cozy atmosphere. The bacon quiche was by far the BEST I've ever tasted. The crust was buttery and crisp, the bacon and cheese fillings complemented each other beautifully, and the egg mixture was perfectly cooked, creamy, and incredibly delicious. The croissants are stunning—flaky, buttery, and golden brown—truly living up to their French claim. I will definitely be returning to try everything else they have to offer.
The decor is adorable and gives a cozy vibe. The staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly. They offer a wide range of flavors for their lattes. The lead barista, Angelina, is exceptionally skilled and knowledgeable—it's clear she knows her craft. On my first visit, I tried the chicken BLT, and today I had the French dip roast beef; both dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. The pastries are clearly homemade and utterly delightful. I highly recommend this charming local coffee shop—13 out of 10!
**Vegetarian options:** They had a good selection of vegan and vegetarian pastries. **Kid-friendliness:** The seating is very comfortable, and the space is bright, even on a rainy day. The staff was also very kind to children. **Parking:** It's located in a shopping center, so any parking difficulties aren't their fault. I found a spot easily, but it was the last available one. **Wheelchair accessibility:** There is ample space and the tables are at a good height for wheelchair users.
This is one of my favorite coffee shops in the area. A military friend of mine introduced me to it and shared the story of how it started, as she knew the previous owners. The lavender coffee is incredible! It’s so good that I’ve even started drinking lavender tea regularly with my dinner—what a game changer! I also love how conveniently located GCS is, making it easy for me to study or meet up with friends. The decor, thanks to Carla, creates a cozy atmosphere that is welcoming for both students and families. I highly recommend Grounded Coffee Shop! It's a great spot for families too, as I often see parents from The Little Gym stopping by after gymnastics.
The restaurant has a charming atmosphere and is perfect for kids to delight in a tasty snack. However, there's one aspect that definitely needs improvement: the excessive use of takeout containers for meals eaten in the restaurant. It's disheartening to witness such unnecessary waste. Thank you!
