First off, it's a Green Bay Packer bar, which was great to see in the area! My wife and I had their dryaged burger and it was okay, in my opinion. Thankfully it was half off on Monday's as full price would have warranted a lower rating. Opinions are subjective but to me, it wasn't as flavorful as I would have hoped and smaller than I expected for the price. Make sure to catch the happy hour as it definitely helps with the check. Their Mackie's Red Ale was just a Leinenkugel, at leas that's what I had overheard the waitress telling the table next to me. Kinda disappointed they didn't brew there own. They went above and beyond! I planned a surprise lunch for my friend and had mentioned that in my reservation. I put in a special note asking if they could write a birthday message on their creme brulee. It’s not something they normally do but came out with it anyway! The level of service from the hostess, server and manager was above what I’ve experienced anywhere and am fully grateful to them for their help
Went to celebrate a friend’s birthday during restaurant week. Multiple items on the special menu were not available. The service was very poor despite us being the only table in the dining room. Had to remind waitress to pick up our drink order from bar, server had very limited knowledge of menu. Food was excellent what they had left
Mackie's seems like a neighborhood place. People at the bar seemed to know each other. It wasn't packed. Good burgers and steaks. Terrible wine list considering its a bar in Old Town. Still we had fun and enjoyed our dinner. They had a good selection of brown liquors Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Went for a dinner meal with family from out of town burgers were delicious, Monday night price special was pleasant surprise nothing fancy, which was perfect, and well suited to just grab some good food and drinks and do some catching up would go again
Basically food was tasteless and underwhelming. After splurging on the filet mignon we were so disappointed. Caesar salad also bland
The food was mediocre. The service was slow. With so many options on King Street, this isn’t a place I’d go to again
