I just went for my vegan friend, but didn't have the best experience. eating is quite expensive for the portion size, and it is ok taste wise. I have gorditas, but they taste different from those I do. they are not fried and I bought it with soy-chorizo. I think I am allergic bc my eye puffed the next day my friend ordered the same, but there was a hair in her eating. it happens. they were nice and brought them back another teller. my vegan friend ordered menudo and she liked it well enough, but maybe not for the price. the inner is beautiful tho and it is one of the only vegan places in downey. it's a good place, but don't come back.
? eating here is amazing! the portions are generous, eating is tasteful and filling, and the service is great. whether vegan, vegetarian or carnivore, they will take guacamayas Mexican food. their water-fibers are also really good, we tried the cucumber limonade and mango, and it was perfect for washing all the great food we ate. it was our first time here, and we are planning to come back. again and again! lol. so glad that there are now more creative restaurants that offer delicious food in downey.
Great space. Feels like a calm little oasis. You order first and wait for your food to come. Customer service was great and everyone was very welcoming. The only thing I didn't anticipate was the size of the bowl. It's massive! I'd definitely share next time, as it's hard to save salads . I did my best to eat this entire bowl but would suggest a smaller size option. Otherwise, I'll be back with a friend
Excellent customer service. It seems that plant-based restaurants always have better CS than their carnivore rival restaurants. Guacamaya Oasis is clean, and the food was absolutely delicious. And unlike many other plant-based restaurants, the portions offered here are substantial. Super fair prices too, which is something not commonly found in Southern California. I will 100% be back.

The portions are very large. Most of the menu is apparently Gluten Free but the markings are very confusing and the staff is poorly trained on food allergies. The flavors are pretty intense. I would order light and then get more if you are still hungry. They seem to be all about the drinks, but we don't really drink so didn't try those. The salads and bowls seemed the lightest.
if you vegan then this place is very good. the guacamaya wrap with huh and guacammole is one of my favorite vegan food ever. the green sauce in the bomb! the place is very unstoppable. my only complicity is that the prices are high. the aqua fresca prices are laughing high. rating 4.5 of 5.
An absolute gem in the south east los angeles area!Been there twice and i dont plan on slowing down anytime soon. Their soyrizo burrito is amazing and i can't wait to try their wet burrito next time i go. Very great environment to be around if you plan on eating there as well. 10/10!
I don't always eat vegan Mexican cuisine, but if I do, I'm going to go to guacamaya. pretty good eating for what it is (plant base). a little expensive, but eating has taste and the agua fresca were quite bombed

Ugh. I really wanted to like this place but it was beyond horrible. Food was just gross. Plant based doesn’t healthy…..
