I eat in at Guacamayas when I can. Today I didn't have time so I placed an order to go. They were very quick. I arrived 20 minutes after placing the order and it was ready. I ordered steak fajitas and they were hot when I arrived home. So many times when you place a to go order you don't seem to get everything you do when you dine in. Not true at Guacamayas. I had a huge helping of fajita steak, peppers, onion, rice, beans, pico, guacamole, sour cream, chips and salsa, all under $10.00. Wonderful, friendly employees, delicious, fresh food and the coldest beer around!
If you're looking for bland, mediocre Mexican food, this is the spot for you. The customer service is terrible, and the cleanliness of the restaurant leaves much to be desired. Don't even think about voicing concerns about your meal, the service, or the atmosphere—it's pointless, and they'll likely just suggest you don't return. Someone needs to remind the owner that there are plenty of Mexican restaurants everywhere, and by telling me not to come back, he's only hurting his own business, not mine.
We have dined here in the past and enjoyed it, but today was a different experience. The salsa appeared and tasted watered down. My chicken quesadilla wasn't hot enough to melt the little cheese it contained. The most unpleasant part was the large cockroach crawling under my feet, which prompted me to keep my feet off the floor for the rest of the meal.
I love this place! I've lived close by for a few years now it's my go-to when I want some inexpensive, quick, and yummy Mexican! It's very basic food but their chips, salsa, and queso are always so good! We can also make out of here for 2 people under $30 during happy hour with margaritas! Plus the staff is so friendly ?

I absolutely love this restaurant! It brings so much joy to my life, which says a lot. The staff are wonderful; I've visited so often that I actually see them more than my own family—and I enjoy their company more! The chimichanga is definitely better when enjoyed in-house rather than to-go—trust me, it's worth it!
This place never fails to impress me. I've always enjoyed it, but today truly topped it all. We ordered for our group, and everything was perfect—the food was absolutely delicious. This is definitely one of the best Mexican restaurants in Nashville. Thank you to everyone who works there; you all do an amazing job!

I ordered food for delivery, and while it arrived hot and well-packaged, the flavors were disappointing. Everything was bland, and it seems like they could really benefit from learning more about seasoning.

I ordered Nachos and a bunch of meat. It was sooooo GOOOD! Everything was prepared and cooked for perfection. Only Guacamayas in my shoes. (See what I did? Knee Slapper)
The food here is excellent and reasonably priced. I’ll definitely return for Happy Hour starting at 3:00.
