The atmosphere is cozy but no sound buffers so extremely loud when busy. We had the bacon wrapped dates as an appetizer which were delicious but in my opinion was barely a portion for 1 person let alone 2. My boyfriend had the manicotti which is probably one of the best i ever tasted with full flavor... definitely recommend this. I had the fettuccine alfredo with Chicken and also added mushrooms and broccoli. The ratio of everything was good except for the creamy Alfredo sauce that fell short in quantity and quality which was very bland without the rich buttery and creamy flavor that i was expecting. Edit: came back and was the total opposite. Might have initially come on an off night. Really disappointing. Goat cheese app had tomatoes, green peppers, onion but no goat cheese. Basically bruschetta but you put it on the toast yourself.. which was great but we didn't order bruschetta. Shrimp wasn't bad; lobster ravioli wasn't terrible but was the worst of the four items we got, toasted ravs were good. Have another gift card here and hope next time is better. Maybe we just got the wrong four things.
This is my favorite place for italian, its pretty quaint and it has an authentic feel inside. The meatballs are the best I've had and the tortellini is always my go to. Every waiter I've had here has been great and I love that the owner comes around to greet everyone occasionally.
I've been to Guido's several times. If you're not hungry, try the Tapas. The food and service has always been superb. Great pasta, chicken, and the BEST Meatball Sandwich in St. Louis. The prices are affordable. Go near Christmas time as the restaurant decorates nicely.

Large servings, constant service, no screaming Mike in the back. Beautiful and bountiful paella, tasty Negroni, plenty of seating. Describing one of the tapas as wild mushrooms is a stretch and the recipe needs a rework.
Drove 35 minutes and we'll worth the drive. Food was incredible especially the bacon wrapped dates. Lasagna was great. Staff was courteous. Street parking only and may need to walk. Worth the walk and drive.
Great place for Spanish food. We had croquetas , very good, and tortilla de patatas , which was excellent (and it 's not easy to make it well). Highly recommended!
First time here delicious food great service and for those two whom it matters they do carry gluten-free pasta and a gluten-free pizza crust
