We ordered a number of meals for take away. The chicken shish kebab came with little salad. The burger and chips had a small handful of chips. The combination kebab meal looked lost in a great big square tinfoil tray with lid and again hardly any rice, salad and chips. Overpriced and small portions. The salad is lovely but without the celery which overpowers the flavour too much. The portions are so small that we don’t use this place and go elsewhere where the portions are decent and not overpriced. Shame as we would use this a lot more if the portion sizes were bigger and they weren’t so overpriced. Not worth the money.
We made a reservation for our anniversary dinner at this restaurant. It was bustling and lively. We were offered choices for seating. The atmosphere was fantastic - not too noisy, allowing us to have conversations without having to yell. The service was excellent, with drinks and our food order taken promptly. We enjoy dining at Gulen's because their menu caters to all tastes. I ordered the sea bass for my main course, which was cooked perfectly and served with rice and salad. Overall, it was a very enjoyable night out.
We had been at Gulens a few weeks ago and had such an amazing time ,I even left a review on here! We came back again having told our friends how great the belly dancer was and what a good time we had had.Unfortunately it wasn`t the lovely blonde lady and the drummer and we were all sooo disappointed! The food was good but we really missed the atmosphere of the other night
We came here for a Saturday night meal and celebration. The food and service was excellent as usual. The highlight of the night was the belly dancer!What a fantastic dancer who really made our evening. She was superb and turned a good evening into a great one. Thankyou Gulens.x

The food is fresh and delicious with very generous portions. The cocktails are amazing and also very generous and reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great dining experience. It is a lovely little restaurant.
Please get some decent chips Gulens! Nice kebabs even if the meat is a bit shy and measly portion size but the chips are dire! They taste like cardboard! If the chips were decent and the meat portions increased this could be a great local kebab shop.
I picked up a takeaway from here one evening via Uber eats. The food came reasonably quick as promised, it was well presented and tasted good. I would like to eat inside this restaurant
I received the wrong dish (which was inedible) and the staff was rude and confrontational. Save your money and skip this restaurant.
