I dined at this restaurant based on a strong recommendation from a social media connection. The decor was perfect, reminiscent of a traditional Southern restaurant from simpler times, with the emphasis clearly on the food. My family and I visited several times and even made special trips for takeout. However, I just called and was surprised to find that a different business has taken over the location. Wonderful place, amazing customer service and even more amazing chicken!! The manager even gave us the background on the family behind the chicken! The restaurant was spotless and everyone working was like a family. We will definitely be back and tell our friends!
Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken is one of my favorite restaurants for having Chicken foods. Their special recipes include Fried Pickle Spears, Piece Dark, Piece White, etc. A friendly place for kids and family members. There are Takeout Facility.
Tasty food. My favorite was the fried pickles! They are open for takeout and delivery. I called them directly to place my takeout order. They stop taking orders 30 minutes before closing.

The chicken is good if you're lucky enough to order within whatever window they are open. I can tell you that 6:45pm on a Thursday is too late to place a pick up order. Ridiculous.
I was pleasantly surprised by this delightful restaurant in an unexpected location. The food was fantastic! I definitely plan to return and sample more of their offerings.
