Worst restaurant ever. It’s humid in here, ac isn’t working, margaritas have no flavor, we found hair in the drinks AND the tortilla chips. There’s one waiter, one bartender, one cook for the whole restaurant. And that’s not even the worst part. Our waiter (never told us his name) wiped his sweat off and didn’t wash his hands after. We watched as he went into the kitchen and grabbed our food to bring it to our table. I only had two drinks which was $17. When the bill came he brought me back a receipt for $29 that was charged to my card. I told him he made a mistake he said he was “distracted”. They refunded the $29 and charged me the original $17. I would rate this place five stars, but honestly, the service was quite lacking. The server was rude and unprofessional. We visited on Saturday at 12:30 AM and ordered half fajitas, margaritas, and a michelada. I was a bit upset that they charged me for the michelada since they only gave me leftover sauce. I couldn't taste any flavor, so I asked for more on the side, but they informed me they were out. Still, I ended up being charged $7 for a beer. The margarita, however, was a good deal at $13 and tasted great. Overall, the food was good, and I enjoyed the vibe, but the service really needs improvement. I would consider coming back in the future, possibly just to sit at the bar.
You really can't go wrong here! Everything is fantastic—the service, the food, and of course, the Margaritas! You'll want to try them all. After an Astros win, we were in the mood for some food and stumbled upon this place. It wasn't too far, so we decided to give it a shot based on the reviews and our craving for Margaritas. We definitely didn't regret it! While the exterior doesn't look like a high-end restaurant and the interior is pretty casual, the flavors transport you straight to Mexico, and the Margaritas make it feel like you're in a classy bar (just take a look at the pictures!).
I had a late-night dinner here and enjoyed some margaritas and mixed drinks, along with beer. The location itself is quite unique, though I doubt many locals would visit unless they’re from the area. The exterior can seem a bit questionable since there’s no sign and it’s located in front of a red roof. That said, it wasn’t too bad overall. The drinks were good, but a bit on the lighter side. Traveling from San Antonio to Houston Hobby to take a flight. Hungry from the car ride we stumbled across this wonderful restaurant. What we thought was a hole in the wall Mexican restaurant turn into what seemed like an affordable 5 star delight. Great flavor. Beautiful presentation. I will definitely recommend this restaurant. I visited this restaurant for the first time and ordered the Tacos Dorados along with a peach and raspberry margarita. Both were absolutely delicious! The tacos were packed with flavor and had a perfect crunch. The margarita was refreshing and had just the right amount of alcohol. My dish is one of the signature items that represents the flavors of El Paso. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend that everyone give this place a try!
First time trying out this restaurant. I had the Tacos Dorados and a peach/ raspberry margarita . So GOOD! I enjoyed my meal , the tacos were so tasty and crunchy. The margarita was refreshing and had a good amount of alcohol. My plate is considered the first meals that started this El Paso flavored restaurant. I will definitely be coming back, I highly would recommend anyone to give this place a shot!
