I am very happy to have discovered Habaneros ll Mexican Restaurant. I have visited the other Habeneros in Norris (North Knoxville), both restaurants in this mini chain are very good but I like this one better so far. I had a very good light meal(a delicious Carne Asada Taco) and one of their Margaritas which was one of the best Margaritas ever. Kudos to Jose (manager)whoo was very willing to talk, I enjoyed meeting him). Also, my server was Shelly at the bar where I was sitting). The staffwere very friendly and added to my enjoying this experience; I now highly recommend Habeneros ll as one of my favoriterestaurants for 2022 (really more than that as they are really above their competition)....
I had high hopes based on previous reviews, but unfortunately, I was let down. The meal was only mediocre at best. The chicken on my plate was overcooked and dry, while the rice lacked flavor, and I’ve had better canned beans. My sister ordered a chicken enchilada, which was probably the highlight of the meal, but her spinach enchilada was also quite bland. The salsa was a saving grace, but it was the only standout of the evening. As for the staff, they were efficient but rather unengaging. There was no real interaction with the guests—just a straightforward process of taking orders, confirming them, and then moving on. They rarely spoke, and if they did, it was just to reconfirm our choices...
The service was quite slow. After we were seated, our waiter seemed to forget about us entirely. It took over 15 minutes for us to get someone's attention just to place our order. To make matters worse, the food we received wasn’t what we had ordered. The restroom floor was sticky, and it wasn’t even a busy time. When we went to pay, the cashier asked how our meal was, and we expressed our disappointment. However, she merely smirked and didn’t appear to care about our negative experience. I used to enjoy this place, but I will definitely be removing it from my list of options.
As always, the food was excellent and the margaritas were fantastic! We celebrated a family birthday here, and it certainly lived up to our expectations. The chips were continuously replenished and fresh, and we never saw the bottom of our margarita glasses! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
One of the most underwhelming meals I've ever had. Nothing inedible, but mediocre or worse across the board. Service was acceptable. There are many better Mexican restaurants in Knoxville. Don't waste your time or money with this one.
Ahhhh, where to start?! The chips and salsa were fantastic on their own! But the food was simply delicious. I've been enjoying it all evening since we got home, and there's still plenty left for tomorrow! Definitely a win-win!
I enjoyed the habanero dip and habanero nachos, accompanied by a Long Island iced tea. Habaneros never lets me down. The food arrives quickly, hot, and absolutely delicious.
