10/28/23 Half Half will always be my go to boba shop! I usually go to the Rowland Heights location, but I found myself at the one in City of Industry. I will say that the customer service and quality is the same regardless of which of the two locations you end up visiting. Half Half is the best when it comes to quantity and quality at its price point. There is an ongoing promotion where you can get a free upgrade to a larger size. This was by far the worst Half & Half location I've been to. I ordered a caramel black milk tea with less sweetness and no ice, plus egg pudding. I paid nearly $7 in cash to avoid an extra card fee. It was a busy Saturday night, and sadly, this ended up being the last boba I had during my trip back to California. What a disappointment! The drink tasted like bitter water with a vague brown tint—no milk, no caramel flavor, and the only sweetness came from the pudding. This is an authentic Taiwanese boba shop with generous portion sizes. The boba is delightfully chewy and incredibly tasty. One standout feature is their milk tea, which has a strong flavor from real tea leaves, making it a real treat. They offer a variety of flavors to choose from, and you can adjust the sugar level to your preference (I personally prefer it less sweet and always order it with a quarter sugar). If you haven't had half half, you are missing out! Absolutely love this place! The iced milk drink with caramel drizzle, egg pudding and boba (number 1) is the go-to always! During the summer they do a promo of a free upgrade. The boba is always nice and chewy and the drink isn't overly sweet. Staff is pretty nice and helpful. In the inside there are a couple places to sit but this is meant to be a grab and go type of place. Give this place a try if you haven't!
My favorite boba spot! I had never been to Half and Half before, but the girl behind the counter was incredibly friendly and recommended the best boba drink I've ever had, and I’m not even a big boba fan. Everything tasted fresh and was filled to the brim, which I really appreciate since the drinks aren’t cheap (almost $5 each, even before inflation), but I think it’s worth it. They should consider selling merchandise—it would be so cute!

I absolutely love the half and half tea at Half Half! I've been enjoying it for the past five years, and their menu offers a great variety to complement this favorite drink.
